When you subscribe
Our signup form asks for your email address and permission to send the Snow dispatch. GoSquared/EcoSend processes the form and manages the subscription, confirmation, email delivery and unsubscribe records for us. We use your permission to send a five-email planning starter series and occasional mountain stories, useful trip advice and relevant offers. We may mention services from our related Go Alpes businesses.
Confirm your email to finish signing up. You can withdraw permission using the unsubscribe link in an email, or contact us at the address above. Unsubscribed addresses are kept in a suppression record so that your choice is respected. We do not sell our subscriber list.
Website analytics
We use GoSquared to understand which pages people read and which planning links they use. Our GoSquared tracker is configured to disable its analytics cookies, anonymise IP addresses and omit page query parameters. It records public page views and events such as opening a partner link or submitting the signup form. A form submission event is an attempt to sign up, not proof of a confirmed subscription.
Signup email addresses are sent through the subscription form, not in these website analytics events. This configuration describes our GoSquared analytics; external sites and services have their own privacy practices.
Other services and links
Hosting, security and email providers process information needed to deliver their services. Our website also loads fonts from Google and images from Sanity and Unsplash. Unsplash photos remain hosted by Unsplash and include links to their photographers. When your browser requests these resources, their providers receive the information needed to serve them. GoSquared’s privacy notice explains its own processing.
If you follow a booking, social or other external link, that service handles the information you give it under its own privacy notice. A subscription to Snow.Holiday does not make a booking enquiry to another operator.
Messages and your choices
If you email us, we use the details you provide to answer your request. We keep subscription information while it is needed to provide the emails you requested and to honour your preferences. You can ask us to explain, correct or delete the information we hold about you at info@snow.holiday. Some records may need to remain to meet legal requirements or prevent unwanted future emails.
